Happy New Year!

I woke up after only a couple hours of sleep somehow feeling rejuvenated and alive. And the loveliest song was playing through my mind.

As I was reflecting on how who I think has the most beautiful face, I decided to let them know that I want to help them with whatever I can.

And after doing something that made me feel good as soon as I woke up, whether the offer's taken or not, I thought about what more I can do for others.

And then it hit me: 29 Days of Giving.

Yes, it's time. Finding my compassion again and giving to others is a personal goal for me in 2012. And I can get started today.

So I'll start a new blog just for sharing my experiences with this challenge. I think it's gonna be a good one, especially living here in Lima where random acts of kindness are incredibly rare but very special sightings.

Do you realize, my friend, that you have the most beautiful face?
