Ok. Here we go.

As of 5pm today, I've officially decided to start writing my book.

I've been writing my story all year by blogging, journaling, emailing, Facebooking...the list probably goes on for awhile.

I've already written about the less wonderful side of living in Lima. There are people who stalk you, the people who will spread stories about you, and the people who lie to you. It's not like we don't have these types of people in the U.S., but here it's to another level that's something you have to get used to as an American acculturating to life in Lima.

I'm having a hard time right now.

My body's failing me, and I don't know what to do about it except just rest.

I've been struggling with my health since March when I got seriously ill with a flare (relapse) of my chronic liver disorder. It took me several weeks to recover, but I've never been entirely sure I've recovered completely.

I'm no novice when it comes to injuries. I've been injuring myself for years, but this latest happened during a particularly tough time.
